Our custom handmade knives are made from recycled aluminm & metal cutting saw blades that use a proprietary tool grade steel with a Rockwell hardness from 58 to 65 on the C Scale & handmade custom Handle and Kydex or Leather sheath.

about us

NSL Saw & Tool was started by Duane Larson in 1978. Duane started the business by sharpening chain saw blades out of his basement in his home. As the business grew Duane decided to move NSL Saw & Tool in 1991 to a new location (3221 South hwy 89, Bountiful Ut.), where it is currently located. His daughter, Heather, and Grandson Jeff, took ownership of NSL Saw & Tool in 2012. Jeff has been sharpening along side his father and Grandfather repairing tools for 10+ years at NSL Saw & Tool where he started working in 2006. Duane still plays a huge part at NSL Saw & Tool working alone side Heather & Jeff to Meet the business needs and provide the best sharpening service in Davis, Salt Lake and Weber counties.
